Last week, as part of the Heritage Days festivities, Salem held an Ice Scream Bowl in the Common. For $5 per adult, you could sample ice cream from nine local(ish) vendors. I was expecting small portions from each, but I was oh so wrong; each vendor provided a heaping cup of deliciousness. My sister & I attended with our respective men, and none of us worked our way through all nine vendors, despite our very best efforts.
My favorite ice cream of the evening was definitely this pumpkin ice cream from Hobbs!
