A Pant Problem

I tend to neglect my pant collection. Maybe it's because I keep my pants out of sight, folded neatly in a box on my closet floor. Maybe it's because I gravitate more toward leggings & tights when the temperature cools. Maybe it's because I have so much clothing that I can't possibly keep track of it all. I suspect it's some combination of the three. 
I recently went through my box of pants, removing what I no longer wanted and donating it. But I also gained a new appreciated for what I kept - these pants included - and I made a promise that I'd utilize my pants more often this fall.
Do you have any items of clothing you tend to neglect? Do you have any tips for how to utilize neglected clothing more often?
