I normally stick to personal style around here, but I've had such incredible shopping luck recently, and I want to share my newly-acquired goodies with you.
Over the summer, I saw this pretty plaid dress on a mannequin outside of Addicted Fashions, a boutique in Salem. Every day I walked past it and said, to myself or my companions, "I'm obsessed with that dress! How perfect would it be this fall?" I wasn't in a financial position to purchase the dress for its full price of $50, though, so I pined away until the mannequin was eventually dressed in another outfit, and my memory of the plaid dress slowly faded.
On Monday, I treated myself to a walk and a little shopping around Salem, and my first stop was Addicted Fashions, where I saw my beloved dress on sale for $10. I think it'll look great with some tights, a cardigan, and a scarf, don't you?
My next lucky stop was Two Girls Shop, another favorite Salem boutique. I spotted this pretty tunic on the sale rack and immediately recognized it as the same tunic I had fallen in love with over the summer. I couldn't resist buying it for a mere $12! Think I can still make it work for fall?
Likewise, I couldn't resist this great scarf - even though it was full price. I know, I know, I have so many scarves, but this is my first scarf purchase of this year, which totally makes it okay. Don't try telling me otherwise.
Next, I popped over to Re-Find - yeah, it's yet another awesome boutique in Salem - and again I found two brand new items that I'd been loving on super sale. I'm talkin' five dollars, people.
I think that with the right accessories I can get some wear out of this floral dress this fall, and my patterned blouse will be perfect for a date night or dinner and drinks with friends.
I rarely buy jewelry - which is really terrible - but I won a $40 credit to InPink recently, and I purchased these vintage-style earrings (they'd look great with my new plaid dress, huh?) and this fun black bracelet. Love 'em both!
I also bought this adorable fox ring from my friend Bri's online jewelry store, Phoenix & Co. jewelry. (You can see Bri's blog here and her jewelry store here.) I have a feeling I'll be wearing this ring constantly this fall!
