This week, I'm road-tripping home to Pennsylvania with Ben and our kitties. I plan to relax, spend time with friends and family, and drink lots of cheap beer. Hey there, chill air & perfume readers! I'm Dani from The Daily Dani! I post daily outfit photos, weekly blogger features, and an occasional bit of celeb style! I'm pretty excited to be babysitting Hannah's blog while she's off on her little vacay!

Truth be told, I get super jealous every time I head over here and see Hannah's adorable outfits and stunning scenery! Boston seems to have the most perfect weather! Over here in Southern California, it's been wavering between the high 80s and low 100s. YES, I SAID 100S! IN OCTOBER! It's disgusting! I've been longing for Autumn weather, for changing leaves, and for Fall fashion! Lately, I've been stuck wearing shorter hems and sleeveless pieces. I don't even know how I've even been able to bear wearing close-toed shoes!

Here are some of the warm weather looks I've been sporting lately...

Honestly, I'm so ready for OUTERWEAR! Even though I can't throw on my pea coat, military coat, or denim jacket, it's not stopping me from daydreaming about them! I put together some outfits ideas for you all to check out - I'm sure some of you have the pleasure of temperatures below 80.

{Watch / Earrings / Necklace / Shirt / Coat / Cords / Purse / Loafers}

A pea coat is such a classic staple, not to mention so easy to transition from Fall to Winter! I think when you go with a classic, it's easy to take it all the way. Classic stripes, a dark corduroy skinny, and some very special loafers! Go with traditional styles and silhouettes, but throw in fun twists - like pops of color and edgy studs!

{Jacket / Dress / Belt / Necklace / Purse / Bracelet / Knuckle Ring / Spike Ring / Tights / Booties}

A military coat (especially one with leather details) is so menswear-inspired that I think it always requires a contrast of femininity! A dainty lace dress is the perfect balance to such a tough piece! Pile on the funky jewelry and a fun purse, make it cold-weather compatible with some tights, and pump up the volume with some ultra-vampy booties, and you are rocking this military trend!

{Pants / Flower Brooch / Jacket / Shirt / Necklace / Earrings / Scarf - Similar / Hat / Watch / Boots / Backpack}

A denim jacket is a necessary staple in every wardrobe! It is the perfect topper for any outfit, from a sundress to a classic pant, or to a very au-courant denim-on-denim look! I, personally, love a denim jacket with some plaid, and I always do plaid with a little Native American mixed in! If it's a particularly brisk Autumn day, why not throw on a light scarf and cute knit hat? Some people say less is more... I say, the limit does not exist!
