I bought a pair of boyfriend jeans last summer, but, sadly, they've mostly remained folded in a box in my closet since then. Don't get me wrong, I love the boyfriend jean conceptually, and I love how it looks on others. I've just had a hell of a time styling mine in a way that's flattering for me. Recently, a rash of fashion bloggers have been rocking their boyfriend jeans, and I think I've figured out the key to making them work: heels.
I don't wear heels often because I do a ton of walking on a daily basis, and I've yet to find a heel that doesn't destroy my feet by the day's end. For the sake of my jeans, though, I opted for heels when I wore this outfit for a dinner date with B. I love the result, and I'm so glad I've finally found a way to make my boyfriend jeans work for me.
